[hylafax-users] Faxstat asks for password, none work
When I attempt to run faxstat, I am asked for a password (not a
username). I have read the man page for hosts.hfaxd and believe I
have it right. In fact I copied my hosts.hfaxd file from a working
Hylafax server to this new one.
Here are the contents of the hosts.hfaxd file (public IPs are obscured
here, but correct in the file):
[root@localhost etc]# cat hosts.hfaxd
localhost
127.0.0.1
64.xxx.235.32
192.168.100.17
64.xxx.235.28
[root@localhost etc]# faxstat -i
Password:
Login failed: 500 'PASS ': Syntax error, expecting password.
[root@localhost etc]# faxstat -i
Password:
Login failed: 530 Login incorrect.
[root@localhost etc]#
