T.30
UDP is allowed to drop packets. So, I'm not sure that there is a test
that will tell you reliably how many packets will, on average, get
dropped, as that will likely vary with traffic and other things.
But, I've just called the VSP and they told me they do support T.38 - so I
guess I will try Hylafax with that. What I am thinking of doing is using
Callweaver (which claims to have T38 ability), but I really did want the
compatibility of Hylafax. Are there any Hylafax add-ons/virtual modems that
do direct T.38?
You could look into t38modem. Search my posts in the last year on a
SIP-compatible t38modem that you should be able to get... somehow.
Thanks,
Lee.
