HylaFAX The world's most advanced open source fax server |
Took me a while to figure out how to subscribe to this mailing
list! Why doesn’t Hylafax have a regular web forum? My problem: Someone has recently set up Hylafax for me, and confirmed it
working with my canon fax machine. Hylafax is connected to Iaxmodem, which is connected to
asterisk, which sends the fax using SIP to the provider in the same datacenter (for
good results). When sending a fax to my canon fax machine, it works 100% of
the time. Picture perfect – I must have sent 15 faxes to it while
testing. But when I am sending to some other destinations it fails exactly the
same way each time. Here are the log files: http://119.63.202.100/canon.txt
<- works http://119.63.202.100/fail.txt
<-fails It seems to me like hylafax doesn’t know how to talk
to this other fax. In a working situation we see this: Apr 15 15:33:14.85: [ 3043]: SEND FAX: JOB 60 DEST 37 COMMID 000000079 DEVICE '/dev/ttyIAX5' FROM 'root <root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>' USER root Apr 15 15:33:14.85: [ 3043]: <-- [12:AT+FCLASS=1\r] Apr 15 15:33:14.85: [ 3043]: --> [2:OK] Apr 15 15:33:14.86: [ 3043]: DIAL 37 Apr 15 15:33:14.86: [ 3043]: <-- [7:ATDT37\r] Apr 15 15:33:27.30: [ 3043]: --> [7:CONNECT] Apr 15 15:33:29.28: [ 3043]: --> [2:OK] Apr 15 15:33:29.28: [ 3043]: REMOTE NSF "00 00 11 80 00 8A 49 10 42 52 20 26 20 48 4D 20 52 49 43 48 20 20 20 20 00 89 00 80 80 80 06 01 01 01 01" Apr 15 15:33:29.28: [ 3043]: NSF remote fax equipment: Canon Laser Class 9000 Series Apr 15 15:33:29.28: [ 3043]: NSF remote station ID: "BR & HM AAAA " Apr 15 15:33:29.28: [ 3043]: <-- [9:AT+FRH=3\r] Apr 15 15:33:30.00: [ 3043]: --> [7:CONNECT] Apr 15 15:33:30.00: [ 3043]: --> [2:OK]
