Re: [hylafax-users] missing fax pages

the sender is Konica Minolta BizHub 250.

1. Any help if I change to hylafax+
2. We rely 100% on fax session log to determine the duration, fax status, dnis, callerid, no. of pages, etc. Any change to fax session log format?

There is page one received fine.

Page 2 was not received fine, requested sender to retransmit specific
frames...

> Mar 07 12:09:47.11: [ 5203]: RECV received frame number 0

Notice that we already got frame 0 on page 2. The sender treated our
PPR signal as if it were MCF... observe...

Page 3 ??? See, it treated our previous PPR as if it were MCF. At this
point HylaFAX should probably abort the call and transmit DCN... but it
doesn't... and instead it simply waits for all of the frames to fill up...

And now we get page 4 without ever having confirmed Page 2!

> Mar 07 12:10:08.12: [ 5203]: RECV send PPR (partial page request)

Notice that we keep requesting retransmissions for one reason or another...

... and not surprising... now page 5...

> Mar 07 12:10:19.21: [ 5203]: RECV send PPR (partial page request)

Here we are rejecting the frames again...

> Mar 07 12:10:20.44: [ 5203]: RECV recv DCN (disconnect)

And it would seem again that the sender thinks that PPR means MCF.

What kind of sender is this? The sender's ECM protocol is very broken.

Thanks,

Lee.
