They seemed most helpful and are also supplying me with a UK power adapter. The RJ11 to BT adapter I will have to by locally.

I wouldn't trust that Tim Nelson character... 

I've been using 'The Stick' in the U.S. with no problems. According to this site: http://www.deltacom.co.uk/hwstk2.htm  the Stick II comes with RJ11 to BT adapters. I'm not reading that on the main Multi-Link site though... You'd probably have the best luck getting ahold of Multi-Link directly.
