Why is the simple operation /usr/bin/tiff2pdf /tmp/fax.tif > /tmp/fax.pdf not working? I cat $FILE > /tmp/fax.tif before. fax.tif is present in /tmp! tiff2pdf is completely ignored! The FaxDispach skript is invoked, a touch /tmp/testmark works fine: /var/spool/fax/bin/FaxDispatch: ============================== touch /tmp/testmark cat $FILE > /tmp/fax.tif /usr/bin/tiff2pdf /tmp/fax.tif > /tmp/fax.pdf The script run with $1 instead of $FILE and with a tif as first argument works fine. Why is /usr/bin/tiff2pdf ignored in FaxDispatch? thx Ekkard ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
