Accidently my answer to this question went to Lee only. Sorry for that!

I was using version 4.3, but now I am using a mixture of version 4.3 and
5.2. Lee told me that the issue about the missing time in the
notification e-mail was solved in 5.2. So I tried to update, but that
didn't work on my Ubuntu, and so finally I only replaced the scripts in
the bin/ directory with the ones from the new 5.2 version. This works
very well now. The time for the next transmission isn't missing any more.

One problem down, two to go. Are there any clues to my other two
questions available? Thanks in advance.
