Here is the error

The document was actually created with Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1 and the file had the same content as the original except the font was slightly different.

do you get any error?
       the error that I get has to do with subfonts /Truetype
What's the actual error message?
is /tmp/1.tif created and is a readable tif file?
       Yes the file is created and readable
And when you view it, does it have the same content of the original
PDF?
