If you send a fax via ttyx0 with destination ttyx1, does it come through?

To do it right, an init script would be needed,

A quick way to start it w/o needing to keep the window open is
something like (all on 1 line):

t38modem -n -o /var/log/t38modem_trace.log -p ttyx0,ttyx1 --route
0@xxxxxxxxx > /var/log/t38modem.log 2>&1 </dev/null &

then you should be able to close the window and still see t38modem in
"ps ax" output
