Thanks to your encouragement, I managed to find that Outlook Express can
save email as .eml file.

I did the following:

# cat raw-email.eml | faxmail -d 088755050
request id is 29 (group id 29) for host localhost (1 file)
# faxstat -d
HylaFAX scheduler on apac-syd-ap004.apac.cpwr.corp: Running
Modem ttyS0 (+61.2.8875.5100): Sending job 29

JID  Pri S  Owner Number       Pages Dials     TTS Status
28   127 D   root 088755050     2:2   1:12

Faxstat show 2 pages which means that the PDF attachment was recognized
and ***not rejected*** if sent via faxmail command line.
The fax output also shows no problem.

What is the conclusion then?
The contents of this e-mail are intended for the named addressee only. It contains information that may be confidential. Unless you are the named addressee or an authorized designee, you may not copy or use it, or disclose it to anyone else. If you received it in error please notify us immediately and then destroy it.
