Do you know what's going on at the sender-side?

Basically this log is telling us that the sender signals to train at V.17 14400, and the modem is instructed to listen for it, but the modem never hears that signalling. So HylaFAX aborts the attempt and waits for silence before then trying to listen for the next attempt... but 23 seconds elapse there... because apparenty there is some noise on the line.

Does this happen all of the time, or only with specific senders?
