Re: [hylafax-users] Simulated receipt of FAX for testing purpose?

I am wondering if there is a way to simulate the receipt of a FAX so
that I can test the conversion process, and then subsequently the
mailer? The purspose would be to bypass the FAX receiving hw, and test
if the rest of the down stream processes (e.g. conversion, passing to
email client, etc.)
Something on the sending side might be useful as well....a file to
submit to hfaxd, check if qfiles are properly generated, see if fax
job is scheduled, etc..)
If there is, could somebody explain how to do it?
You could use two instances of t38modem to send faxes between them to do
this. Alternatively you could also use two iaxmodem instances, but that
is significantly more complicated as it involves soft-PBX installation
as well.
