Hi Jan,
Many years ago we had a product family based on the Conexant SmartACF
chipset. We sold vast quantities for use in the data market but never sold
it for fax because it was not reliable enough for our customers.
I'd suggest that you get a modem based on the Agere Venus chipset, or for
the very latest and greatest a LSI (Agere) CFAX34 chipset.

anyone experienced problems with external modem fax Hamlet HV92KX2?
The error in subject is driving me crazy. I can't find any solution and
I'm about to start to think it's a modem issue. The config.ttyS0 is the
