Please upgrade to HylaFAX 4.3.4 or 4.4.0-beta1. If the problem persists, 
then you'll need to capture an strace of that hfaxd process, since it seems 
to be crashing. We can help you with that if you can arrange access to the 
server. Just email me privately if you'd like to set that up.
