I'm using a USR 56k fax modem in class 1.

I have tested using Minicom that the modem is CLID capable and this works with AT#CID=1.

Problem is that the CLID is not showing in the log files.

Based on previous posts to this forum I tried adding the following to config.ttyS1
ModemResetCmds: AT#CID=1

and this has not fixed the problem.

Depends on what log files you're looking at, I guess. Set ServerTracing to 0xFFF in your modem config file. Then, after a call comes in, look at your syslog (/var/log/messages).

If you're looking at your session logs (and if you really want to use the Caller*ID stuff in the HylaFAX software) then you'll need to also add some CallIDPattern entries in your modem config file based on what you see appear in your syslog.
