Re: [hylafax-users] caller id help needed please

Hi Michael,

http://www.hylafax.org/content/Handbook:Advanced_Server_Configuration:Caller
-ID

From this you will see that you need to set two additional parameters (the
exact format will depend on your modem and can be found in the modem user
manual);

CIDNumber: "NMBR="
CIDName: "NAME="

The modem must also answer after a minimum of two rings if you are using a
Caller ID system which delivers data between the first and second rings (USA
for instance).

RingsBeforeAnswer: 2

Subject: [hylafax-users] caller id help needed please

I'm using a USR 56k fax modem in class 1.

I have tested using Minicom that the modem is CLID capable and this works
with
AT#CID=1.

Problem is that the CLID is not showing in the log files.

Based on previous posts to this forum I tried adding the following to
config.ttyS1
ModemResetCmds: AT#CID=1

and this has not fixed the problem.
