Well, there is no "stock" FaxNotify. So I'm not sure what yours says... but it's probably fine.

I wouldn't ever count on hfaxd.conf settings to affect anything as far as job submissions go - if anything they're only defaults for clients that do not specify them. The client will override any job setting. You can override the client by using JobControl.

What are the two notificiation mails? How are they different?
1st: Subject: facsimile job 32 to Test Destination" " (123456) completed 2nd: Subject: facsimile job 32 to 123456 done
The contents of the first email shows the pdf attachments and it seems to take my settings in the FaxNotify script (to decrease tech info ...etc) --- snip --- Your facsimile job to 123456 was completed successfully.
Destination: 123456 Sender: George H Mailaddr: george@xxxxxxxxxxxx Pages: 2 Receiver: 3216545
--NextPart8008 Content-Type: application/pdf; name="123456-1.pdf" Content-Description: FAX document Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="123456-1.pdf" --- snip ---
The second email that comes next just shows some technical info without any attachments. --- snip --- This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
--NextPart8008 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Destination: 123456 Sender: George H Mailaddr: george@xxxxxxxxxxxx Pages: 2 Receiver: 3216545 Quality: Normal Page Width: 215 (mm) Page Length: 279 (mm) Signal Rate: 14400 bit/s Data Format: 2-D MMR Remote Equipment: Panasonic Remote Station: 560 (UV1)V1.25 Modem: ttyS0 Submitted From: localhost JobID: 32 GroupID: 32 CommID: c000000085
The following documents were submitted for transmission and are available on the server for reuse until they are automatically purged when this job is removed. Documents may also be manually removed using the faxrm command; consult faxrm(1) for information.
Filename Size Type docq/cover32 11183 PostScript docq/doc63.ps 6015 PostScript
--NextPart8008-- --- snip ---
So basically I get two notification emails each time I send a fax. As you can see above each email is different (so its not like it is sending the same thing twice.)
Any ideas on why this is happening? Regards George H
