All I'm getting are boxes where each of the bars should be. The height of the boxes seem to be about right.

We have to send PDF documents that have embedded fonts in this case a barcode font. It seems that the current PDF2TIFF program can't handle embedded fonts correctly.

The pdf2fax script that HylaFAX uses invokes Ghostscript for that conversion.  Ghostscript *should* be able to handle embedded fonts.  What is the conversion output?
