Did you run faxaddmodem? That creates the config.ttyS0 for use by hylafax.
Yes I did, it was run automatically after faxsetup. I followed all the steps and when it was probing the modem it said it couldn't find the proper speed. Though no config.ttyS0 was created, just a config file.
