Re: [hylafax-users] setup of a modem
I just finished installing my MultiTech MT5634ZPX this morning and It is working
great now. I installed hylaFAX+ 5.0.3 as I had some odd problems with the other
4.3.1. Just unzip, configure, make and install. I ran faxsetup and had a small
glitch as i needed to enable a couple of sequences in the
config.ttyS1 file that were not handled by the faxaddmodem script (I don't know
why as the modem was recognized by the script) This was a replacement
MultiTech card, same series, that I had thought was damaged by a power outage a
couple of weeks ago. I now think the config.ttyS1 script blow was the whole
earlier problem also.
Today, I'm happy! Class2.1 T.30 AnnexA, ECM.. Just got another fax at 28800
bits/s.

What should I look for to get hylafax working with this modem?
