[hylafax-users] Can't redirect hylafax logging - even after changing the LogFacility parameter

Guys/Gals,

Need some help. I have spent a few days on this and have googled in vain.

Problem A :- I am trying to get hylafax to log all information in a 
particular log
.................................................................................................................... 


I have edited /etc/syslog.conf  and inserted;

   local5.*    -/var/spool/fax/log/hylafaxserver.log

edited /usr/share/fax/hfaxd.conf and changed;

LogFacility   local5

But i cant seem to get any messages into 
/var/spool/fax/log/hylafaxserver.log
even though the hylafaxser.log file exists;

# ls -l  /var/spool/fax/log/hylafaxserver.log

-rw-rw-r--  1 uucp uucp 94 Jan  6 22:27 
/var/spool/fax/log/hylafaxserver.log

I have restarted syslog ,  "service syslog restart" and hylafax with 
"service hylafax-server restart"

but messages still seem to go into /var/log/daemon/info or error or warning

Any ideas on how i can get hylafax to push  all messages to 
/var/spool/fax/log/hylafaxserver.log ?

Problem B: ServerTracing and SessionTracing parameters
................. ......................................................

There seem to be duplicates of these params  in
/var/spool/fax/etc/config.ttyS0   and
/usr/share/fax/hfaxd.conf

Where do we change them? What values should we assign (for a class 1 
modem) so that we can
info to troubleshoot ( like a -vv level )
