There is some problems when using whfc and hylafax. Hylafax version : 4.3.0 whfc version : 1.2.4 server operating system : freebsd 6.2
My goal is send massive batches of faxes (+ 1000 at one time). Of course I have to raise the kill time value, otherwise only few of them will be sent.
/usr/local/lib/fax/hfaxd.conf and /usr/local/lib/fax/hyla.conf and $HYLAHOME/etc/config
the following line: KillTime: "now +10 days"
From whfc, when sending the job, I pull the handle of kill time to its leftmost position (server).
Even though the files are actually read at the moment the job is scheduled (ls -lut shows it) the value I set is ignored and a default 2 hours killtime is used.
If I set a different kill time from whfc it works properly, but if I try the rightmost position (48 hours) the server naks. In short, the maximum kill time I can set is 47 hours.
I've tried to set in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/WHFC/KillTime to 240 (10 days). Evidently there must be some bug in whfc, because at first it show the new correct maximum value, then as I move the handle it reverts to 48 hours.
I wonder if I'm the only one who've experienced this faulty behavior, or if there is some wrong I've done or there is some solution,
