It is possible you have a mailer.conf config file that would tell you
which MTA you have as well.
Find your mailer.conf file, in my system it's under /etc/mail/mailer.conf.
It uses "aliases" of sendmail to determine which "sendmail" you are using,
as every mta has it's own version of "sendmail."
My sendmail == sendmail.postfix for example, would be an entry for
postfix. My version also has comments for other common MTA setups.
