Hi Danilo,

The Agere OCM firmware has numerous problems and is rarely upgradeable
because the chip does not require external Flash or Ram (OCM is an acronym
for 'One Chip Modem').

I would suggest that you buy yourself a decent modem.

On the sender-side it just looks like the receiver hung up at roughly this
moment.

"AONNECT" ?

Indeed, the receiving modem has some internal error and causes the modem to
go on-hook at this moment.

Diagnosis: something's wrong with the receiving modem firmware/hardware.
Look for an upgrade, update, or replacement.
