You have just confessed to conspiracy to break Telecommunications law. Go
directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect £200. :)
Hylafax itself won't do the autodetection; but Asterisk might be able to,
and
with a bit of scripting should be able to deal with the business of playing
a .wav file or sending a fax.
However, it's illegal for the initiator of a phone call to play a
pre-recorded
message down the line for marketing purposes. It's also an exceptionally
good way to ensure that the people you call will never, ever do business
with
you as long as they live.
The only way you will gain customers from this obnoxious strategy is by
pretending to be one of your own competitors!
