Yes;-) Perhaps I'm a little bit "unnormal", but I want to learn. Only scripting this from beginning I am not capable. I understand the config-files of ssh and for example mutt (and can change or optimize them for my own requirements), but the code I found here: http://www.hylafax.org/howto/clients/.procmailrc is a little bit too complicated for me:-/ > That being said, the constaint to build an email->FAX gateway without > scripting is one that I don't know a way around. For example: > http://www.hylafax.org/archive/2000-10/msg00203.php Hmm. The script seems to be much more complicated than I need. My wishes are more simple: - users who are members of a group e.g. "fax" can send faxes. - fax-sending is possible from any PC in the local network. - The body of a message has to convert, just as attachments. I don't need things like faxpasswords or mass-faxes or scheduling. I thought a mail-address like 1234567@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (with the number-part is the destination-fax-number) is sufficient for my necessities. But if there is a fine-working script outside there I would use it if usage is documented;-) ciao, Dirk -- | Akkuschrauber Kaufberatung and AEG GSM stuff | | Visit my homepage: http://www.nutrimatic.ping.de/ | | FIDO: Dirk Salva 2:244/6305.10 Internet: dsalvaATgmx.de | | The "Ruhrgebiet", best place to live in Germany! | ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
