Is there any way to get the time taken for each individual sent fax,
not for the whole lot?

Yes, you get it out of xferfaxlog. Or use FaxAccounting in hylafax+

I mean, instead of:

Jun 6 23:30:29 faxmaster FaxQueuer[25869]: NOTIFY: bin/notify
"doneq/q1916" "done" "7:48"

The $JTIME there really refers to how long the job took between sendJobStart and sendJobDone. It includes modem initialization time and several other time-consuming factors that will make the usage of $JTIME inaccurate for (as an example) billing purposes. So even without batching involved it is an inaccurate piece of information for most accounting purposes. The purpose in that it serves is to give an idea to the user of how long ago it was that the call was placed. So in this case the user would know that the fax was sent in a call that was placed approximately 7:48 ago.

Unfortunately, in a batch it makes the difference between this number and the number recorded in xferfaxlog even larger... and even less useful for the user in knowing how much time they will be charged for that call.
