If all the `done' not translated to `sortie' the script will fail.
The variable `$WHY' must be translated too, wherever it happens (how
many times?).
Only the `echo' messages must be translated.
Translated variables can be a big headache.

With gettext it can be:

 echo $"done"

Or

 echo gettext "done"

Take a look:

$ less /usr/sbin/pppoeconf

Try it too:

$ locate pppoeconf.mo
