Based on my experience, FaxNotify sends attachments only when facsimile
is received, not sent. If you are receiver then you'll receive
attachment as well. And if you're using terminal (FAXMASTER = root) to
read your mails of course you'll not be able to read attachments. In
that case you need to use some email client in graphical enviroment.

I've done it this way. I configured my sendmail to use "smart relay
host" - my mail server. And set up Faxnotify to send notifications not
to FAXMASTER, than to my@xxxxxxxxxx 

It's works fine, and every time when fax is received, attachment comes
to.the@xxxxxxxxxxx
