Re: [hylafax-users] Autoanswer

Sorry, it is RING! But something is still wrong with
that string, otherwise iaxmodem would answer? Why
doesn't Hylafax see the Ring? What are the possible
reasons in such cases?

When I call the IAXModem, cu -l ttyIAX shows:

RING

RING

RING

--------
in ASCII the output of cu -l ttyIAX is:

0000000 \r \n R I N G \r \n \r \n R
I N G \r \n
0000020 \r \n R I N G \r \n
0000030

Are these spacings OK?
I just copied the iaxmodem-config, adjust it, sending
works, but receiving not:

cat /etc/iaxmodem/iaxmodem-cfg.ttyIAX
device /dev/ttyIAX
owner uucp:uucp
mode 660
port 4570
refresh 300
server 127.0.0.1
peername 200
secret 200
cidname 200
cidnumber 200
codec slinear

I appreciate any help!

Best regards,
