Re: [hylafax-users] dynamic sender number

Hi Bodo,

you can find a line "fromlocation:" in the hylafax q(ueue) files
under /var/spool/hylafax/sendq/.
Now in order to set the outgoing number you have to manipulate this
qfile before sending actually takes place. One way to do this is to use
a wrapper-script for c2faxsend (in case you are using capi4hylafax) that
takes an argument from sendfax or any other client and writes the number
into the q file. The other way is to connect with telnet/ftp to hylafax
and set the option with "jparm fromlocation"
this is the way I'm doing it because my client is a perl script and
there is already a Perl Module which handles communication to hylafax
via ftp.
