To all Hylafax fan like me, During Hylafax 4.1.x (not sure with other but I use 4.1.5 before) notification via e-mail was far easy with receiving fax as if its always there, sending fax via sendfax -D works too. With 4.2.x things have change a little, you will not be notified unless you do the ff: for receiving fax email notification 1. vi /var/spool/hylafax/bin/faxrcvd 2. NOTIFY_FAXMASTER=always 3. save and exit for sending fax email notification 1. either sendfax -D 2. or vi /etc/hylafax/hyla.conf look for Notify: Done 3. save and exit and for the notification to work you need to run sendmail (on redhat make sure it is enable in ntsysv) in my case I'm fetching emails via outlook and thunderbird, you only need to configure pop3. for linux dummies you can use pine. thanks a lot and more power to hylafax! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
