Re: [hylafax-users] faxgetty hangs
Lucie,
Please set:
TracingMask: 0x11
SessionTracing: 0xFFF
in your modem config file, restart faxgetty, and then send the log that
gets stuck.
Your strace really looks like it's talking about a driver read block,
but the session log with that verbosity should give us some clear
indication.
Thanks.
Lee.

Hello,
I'm experiencing a problem since i upgraded to hylafax 4.2.1 on a
server that had been running hylafax 4.1.7 on Slackware 9.0 without
any problems. the modem is a gnet md0340, which i use on a few
different sites and it works just fine. configs are defaults for
class 1 except for PPM TCF EOP wait cmds and Class1SwitchingCmd that
are set to <delay:n>
the fax answers most incoming faxes without problems, but approx.
once a day it hangs, and i have to kill -HUP it to get things back up.
when it hangs, faxstat still thinks it is receiving, the log file
c000XXX.log is stuck receiving frames
if i try to strace on the hanged process i get :
12:17:37.482728 time(NULL) = 1108574257
12:17:37.482776 time(NULL) = 1108574257
12:17:37.482827 read(7, <unfinished ...>
I really would appreciate some directions as to where to look.
