Update

I have come across a webpage that helps out with sendmail problems. I ran the command “sendmail -v –q” – this showed me that all email is in a queue. The error message is “Deferred: Connection refused by mail.ldp.co.za” I think I need to change the “mail.ldp.co.za “ part to our gateway ip address. I will search the i-net how to do this.

We do not get any notification for failed or received faxes – suddenly stopped yesterday. We are using HylaFAX-4.2.0 on a Redhat ES v3 server.

I have done the following:

Ran faxsetup
Ran faxaddmodem
had a look at the logs – could not see anything wrong – what do I need to look for?
restarted many times
looked at the aliases file – FaxMaster is ok
Our libtiff file version is 3.5.7-13

What else can I do?

All help is welcomed
