Hi:IIRC the getty warnings are for your information only and can be ignored if you are not running those services. GS on the other hand is critical but can be easily fixed, indeed this issue comes up on the mailing list every few weeks. Debian installs GS into one location and Hylafax looks for GS in another (location set at compile time). The following gives instructions for setting up the symlinks and should get you up and running
Have just installed debian woody and with it, ghostscript (gs) the hylafax server using the apt-get command. Upon trying to run faxsetup I get a message that getty-link, vgetty-link, egetty-link does not exist in /etc/fhylafax, and gs does not exist. This is absurd and only happens with Debian. Anyone have any experience with this?
