Hi, I want to use a Samsung SF-515 fax machine as a scanner. Therefore I'm looking for a software FAX *receiving* (sending is not needed) software that - is easy to set up, - supports superfine mode (200dpi horizontally, 300dpi vertically), - runs under Slackware LINUX 9.1. I already tried EFAX and it worked fine, except - it doesn't support superfine mode, only fine mode (200 dpi x 196 dpi), - the FAX machine always reported an error after sending was comleted (but EFAX received the faxes in perfect condition). Would HylaFAX be a solution for me? Are there alternative solutions (superfine mode is a must)? Felix PS: To contact me off list don't reply but send mail to "felix.klee" at the domain "inka.de". Otherwise your email to me might get automatically deleted! ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxxxxx*
