this is strange.    both excel and word are printing to the same print (to file) and one works and the other one doesn't.  very strange. 

 

oh hang on.  have you just typed wrong here?    according to your message you faxed the working .pdf file.  confirm that you send the postscript one and not the pdf?  i suspect that both the postscript files are failing? 

 

  When I do this:

  1.  test file with word, not excel

  2.  same as before.  print to file.  (e.g."/tmp/testfile.ps)

  3. " ps2pdf /tmp/testfile.ps " in Linux platform

  4. "sendfax -n -d 3333333 /tmp/testfile.pdf "

  then I got a correct fax.

 

cypheus is freeware for non-profit organizations.  it is not limited in any way tho and they will send a free license key for non-profit orgs.    this app is very good.

 

another really bad looking App is called WHFC.  http://www.hylafax.org/links.php for complete list of all clients.

 Now I have a new problem.

   1. Are you use Cypheus for send fax and receive fax?

   2. Is the Cypheus freeware? Because I want to use it also.

   3. Where can Cypheus for get?

 Because my company can't pay for commercial software .So I can use freeware only.

 Execuse me! Can you recomend a based web freeware or client program? Because I already set up a base  Fax server system.and I can send fax from fax server , but my client users not select a suitable software(samba? or web client?)
