Thanks, Darn. We have a bunch of existing expensive hardware I would rather not just throw/auction away. Does anyone know if their is anything supported by HylaFax that also supports MMR compression? When we switched to boards that supported MMR compression our average fax delivery time almost dropped in half and our long distance bills went down quite a bit. It would suck to lose that. You are free to buy their developer's kit, and write your own drivers. They won't even talk to you about linux (I know, I tried). This kind of locks them out of the hylafax crowd. I don't know about gammafax. You can get better cost/port than brooktrout with digi's acceleport or datafire, and they are very well supported as long as you run a uni-processor machine. Eicon'd diva server cards are for ISDN, and from my very limited testing are more flexible than digi, but are going to be a bear to configure. Search the archives. A lot of this discussion has already taken place several times..... --Yan Daniel Franks wrote: >Hello all, > >I am new to Hylafax and was wondering if there is any support for >Gammafax(Dialogic/Intel) or Brooktrout boards? > >I did not see them on the list of supported Class 1 modems and was hoping >this didn't mean they are not supported. > >Thanks, >Dan > >p.s.
