Hi Josh...thanks for writing back..

i'm using Whfc.
If I run the commmand :

faxstat -s

I get...

HylaFAX scheduler on plalinux.com: Running
Modem ttyS0 (244257) : Running and idle

after i send a fax via Whfc client,

faxstat -s

gives the same output

Hylafax scheduler on plalinux.com : Running
Modem ttyS0 (244257) : Running and idle

JID Pri S Owner Number Pages Dials TTS Status
30 127 W placivita 247 0:0 0:12

however, tail -f on the /var/log/messages file shows

sendfax job 31 dest 247 commid 00000268
send failed : job 31 dest 247 err can not setup modem
error writing send accounting record dest 247
notify ...sendq/q31 requeued

Jim
