This leads me to believe that this modem does *not* support fax.  I
recommend that you return the product or require the supplier/manufacturer
to provide instructions on how to enable fax capabilities for this modem.

In any case, if it *does* fax, you'll need to contstruct the config.<devid>
file by hand and place it into the /var/spool/fax/etc/ directory.

You may want to check at http://www.linmodems.org for a better driver.
