Hi, I'm trying to get a Zoom 14.4 Ex (external) modem to work with Hylafax4.1beta3 under NetBSD 1.5 (i386). The output of ATI3 (using cu) is "AFES - V1510b - Rockwell RPI (TM) MODEM Z201", ATI0 says "14400" (as it should) and AT+FCLASS=? gives "0,1". When I run the faxaddmodem script it detects this thing as an RC32ACL, but I think that isn't right. I think it should be RC144ATi (see following link). I found some docs on http://www.zoomtel.com/techsprt/docs.shtml with AT commands, so I changed some of the proposed commands with my the ones from http://www.zoomtel.com/techsprt/documentation/144aticm.php, but before I proceed I'd like to know if there isn't a way to let faxaddmodem detect this thing correctly. Or should I just forget about the detection and use the rc144-1 config file? Since this is an RPI modem I should put in "ModemFlowControl: xonxoff", right? And is "ModemRate: 38400" for this (14.4) modem? I noticed that there's a "ModemSetupAACmd: AT+FAA=0" in the config, but there isn't such a command in the documentation mentioned above. Thanks for any help.
