Huh?  You *can't* do that.  (And I'm sure that the RPM install told you
this...)  This HylaFAX binary was compiled against libtiff-3.5.  So use
libtiff-3.5

RedHat 7.0 comes default with libtiff-3.5... how did you get downgraded?
