"newest version" isn't the newest version.  Anyway, you've got a libtiff
incompatibility.

If you insist on continuing to use the HylaFAX RPM that you have then you
need to downgrade your libtiff to 3.4 if you have 3.5 or vice-versa.

However, I'd recommend that you use CVS.  http://www.hylafax.org/cvs.php
