From my experience with USR 56k Faxmodem (French model, but i guess it is 
the same with a German one), and information from Lee Howard (thanks to 
him), 
you cannot  use this modem with Class 2.0 for sending faxes... 
I can only use it with Class 1, and it works (almost) well.
