It appears that the remote fax is sending multiple times to my Hylafax server. Meaning that the remote fax is not getting some kind of "successful receipt" message, assumes the send failed, and retransmits. However, each fax is received on my end just fine. The modem in this case is a Practical Peripherals 336 Voice. Faxaddmodem installed the Rockwell RC288DPi-based Class 2 modem config file. (Running in Class 2 of course.) Any ideas? -----Original Message----- From: Edward King [mailto:edk@cendatsys.com] Sent: Tuesday, May 09, 2000 12:27 PM To: Kirk Bocek; flexfax@sgi.com Subject: Re: flexfax: Multiple Copies Received Is it multiple copies or sending it multiple times? I'm running 4.1beta2 on linux kernel 2.2.14 and everything seems fine. If the copies are coming in from the modem, does it happen on multi-page faxes, and if so, how are the pages arranged? What modem -- class 1 or 2/2.0? I'm running a USR internal PCI with class 2.0 and adaptive answer. - Edward King Kirk Bocek wrote: > On a 4.1Beta1 installed on Redhat 6.2, one of my two modems seems to receive > multiple copies of many faxes. > > Could this be a handshaking problem with the modem config?
