flexfax: ModemSetVolumeCmd: "ATM2L3" doesn´t work

Hello, 

my config.ttyS1:

[...]
#ModemSetVolumeCmd:     "ATM0 ATL0M1 ATL1M1 ATL2M1 ATL3M1"
ModemSetVolumeCmd:     
"ATM2L3"                                               
#ModemEchoOffCmd:       ATE0            # disable command echo   
[...]

1. ATM2L3 does not work ! Why ?


2. I want to force my modem to recognize busy tone with ATX4. 
   I think "ATX4" will not work either !?
