Re: flexfax: COMREC ERROR

Reading the FAQ I found a possible solution; disable the use of 2D-encoded in
the Multitech Modem. First i tried to do it using the parameter "Use2D:  no"
in the config files: "config", "config.ttyS", but only worked for sending
faxes; the modem still received 2D-encode if the remote fax asked for it.
Later i found the FAQ "Q135: Encoding errors in facsimile received with my
Everex 24/96E?", where it was suggested to add the following line to the the
"config.ttyS" to disable the use of 2D-encoded:

        Class2DCCQueryCmd:      "!(0,1),(0-3),(0-4),(0-2),(0),(0),(0),(0-7)"

After applying this to my config files, i started receiving faxes 1D-encoded,
and no more COMREC errors have appeared. In fact, in one day of work i
received sixty faxes, and only one of them failed, but with other error.
The only disadvantage is that the communication is always at 9600, but for
now, is only a minor problem for me.
