Well, I'm not genius.. have my own problems right now but it appears as if
the modem doesn't have dialtone?  Plz check to see if the cable from your
phone jack is plugged into the line input of the modem and that there is
dialtone from the phone plug on the modem by pluging a phone in a lifting
the receiver.  if not plz check the phone cable to make sure it's good.
