flexfax: Missing font metrics and can't resolve localhost (was: Problems with faxmail - unknown mailer error 255)

No you receive a message telling you that it can't find any font metrics
and one saying that it can't resolve localhost.

Common causes for hylafax failing in this way when using more recent versions
of ghostscript are discussed many times in the archive and may be in the 
FAQ.

At a guess, localhost is missing from your /etc/hosts file.

Debug hylafax without any mail interface, then debug faxmail by running
it through the command line, not through sendmail.
