flexfax: faxq doesn't disable wedged modems!

Hey!

I'm running HylaFAX 4.0pl2 on a Solaris 2.6 box with many,
many modems.  Often a modem wedges and 'faxq' runs the 'wedged'
command which sends me an annoying e-mail message.  According
to the documentation, 'faxq' should then mark the modem as
unusable so it doesn't keep trying to send through it.  Instead
I get the annoying e-mail message repeated every few minutes.

Ideas?
